Guardian Grace
In 2009, I completed a recording at Sawhorse Studios with the help of Jacob Detering, Joe Meyer, Eric Grossman, Ryan McMillen, R.Scott Bryan, Dawn Weber, Jim Stevens, Michelle Higgins, and my dad, James Ward. The songs reflect my passions for music of diverse cultural origins, for community in local church congregations, and to see the call for justice and mercy that’s found in scripture reflected in the music we sing in worship.
Only One
Recorded in 2002 during my senior year in college, “Only One” is a collection of eight worship and devotional songs. Infused with rock, gospel, funk and even samba beats by producer and drummer, Rick Dickerson, the album reflects my passion for cultural diversity. My father, composer and performer, James Ward lends his talents on the keys and background vocals.
