bringin’ da funk! in the South City
We have two services on Sunday. One meets in a part of St. Louis called “University City“; this is our main service. The other service is closer to downtown in a part of the city called, “South City.” The building that the South City service meets in is an old church that is about 100 years old. Carved wood pews and pulpit. High ceilings and a pipe organ. The place is called “The Chapel for the Exceptional” and it is a ministry run by a man that I have been introduced to as simply, “Pastor Bill.” We are renting this building because South City is a major center for immigrants and refugees in St. Louis.
