Some of my most vivid memories from my childhood are are set on the stage of campfires, worship, squeaky bunks, mildewed canoes, and watery hot chocolate. I love the church retreat!
We haven’t had one for 2 years and Sarah and I have been counting the seconds until this year’s retreat. This weekend we have around 300 people signed up for our church retreat. We are also excited because it’s been 5 years since we moved to St Louis, and our friendships are a lot closer than the first years that we attended. Also, it’s the first year that we’ve gone with kids. I am so excited about collecting pine cones, roasting marshmallows, and canoeing with Joanna and Sam. I love the church retreat!
What are your favorite memories of the church retreat? Or do you hate the retreat and need a stage to air your grievances?
