This song was written as the theme song for the 2002 Urban Camp in Chattanooga, TN. I can honestly say that this song was an instant success with the kids at Urban Camp. They would continue the “walk the talk, we’re gonna walk the talk…” chant even after I had stopped playing. Trivia fact: My wife and I officially started “dating” at Urban Camp that year; we were engaged about 4 months later. Summer love… The recording features some special guests: Michelle Higgins from The Distribution on back ground vocals and my dad, James Ward, on Rhodes.
